19 settembre Letter from BunniThis is the letter I received from one of my clients today. When someone you know knows the person mentioned in this kinda letter, it's more than just an annoying junk mail passing on thru internet. So I'm going to send Karen a postcard... if you see my blog and if you would like, I hope you can send one, too. =]

I am on a mission and am asking for your help. I have a friend that has been battling cancer for some time and is now in the final stages. She is in her early 40's and has been told that there is nothing more that can be done. Her day is filled with pain but yet she does not complain. When you talk with her she is more concerned for others than herself. She is not sad that her time is at end, saying she would be happy to have more time with her family and friends, but can think of no greater joy than to be with her Lord.
I cannot imagine what it would be like to spend each day knowing iyou may not wake tomorrow. She loves to laugh and always has a smile for everyone. She is very strong in her faith and has told me many times that it is what gets her through each day. When I ask her what I can do, she asks for a card, saying she would love to get mail.
What I am asking is that if all of you could take a few minutes in your day and say a prayer for Karen and if you could send her a card or a note letting her know someone out there cares and is thinking of her, it would bring so much joy to her day. I would love nothing more than to call her and listen to hear her laugh and tell me her bed is covered in cards.
So please, help me to make Karen smile.
