    Congratulations, Pammy!

One of my good friends, Pam, is going to get married and I will be flying over to Thailand to attend her wedding.

We knew each other back in the States. We were both part of very few foreign students in that program but never really talked in the first semester.
Then one day on school bus, I recognized that she was from my class and we had a small talk. We had International Finance together that semester and I guess that's how we got familiar with each other.

We hanged out all the time in the States. We shared food in potluck every week or so, I brought whatever Chinese dish that I managed to make (remember that onion cake and three-cup chicken???) and she would cook us wonderful rice ball in coconut milk as desert. We went to many restaurants for all kinds of cuisines, but most of the time we had Thai food. That was when I really had authentic Thai food (yes, in US)... and I kinda like it!

We party together... and Pam party a lot, lol. She introduced me to her friends and once in a while I would join their gathering. This bunch of guys r nice people but they drank like crazy, lol. Every time I tried to stay sober while my party queen was pouring tequila down her throat. Sometimes we went clubbing too and I like it better because I don't like drinking too much but I do love to dance =] We had such a great time... with some wild memory too. Remember one time we had 5 people piled into back seat in the car and I had to sit on the car floor?... LOL

Of course we studied together too... well, okay not as much as we party, but after staying in the library for all evening cramming formulas of bond valuation, it's so warm to get a call saying, "hey, Andrea, I know you've been staying in the library and you didn't eat yet, wanna come over to my place for some food?" Love you, Pam!

Anyway, she's the sweetest and kindest gal I knew, and I feel so fortunate to be her friend. I know she will be happy in life because that's what she deserves. No more drama, baby. You will gain strength and peace from a stable marriage and a caring husband. Wish you a prosperous and delightful future, sweetie!
